im in a dilemma.....

i have 3 things i dont know what to do... i wanna race really bad next yr.. but i would be in the NEATV 14 and 15 yr old class.....

#1. save up money all summer/winter and buy a 300ex or blaster motor and do a conversion into my 400ex frame

#2. save up money summer/winter keep the 400 and buy a cheap blaster

#3. save up moeny summer/winter sell the 400 buy a YFZ....


what should i do?!?!?!??!?!?!

For now just keep practicing on the 400..then when your 16 you will be ready to go...

Will you be 14 or 15 next year. If you are just one season away i would say go with # 3. But if it will be two years before you are 16 i would say go with #1 or #2. if you spend the money on a blaster you will hate yourself next year if you are in a class where you need a bigger quad. But if you can race the blaster for two years it would be worth it!

yuppers.. im 14 now.... i thought about it alot lately.. i think i will buy a YFZ or a 450r this winter.. im leaning towards the YFZ because i can find em cheaper.. and besides. we already have a 450r....

Let's be realistic, a YFZ is $6,900 - that's a hell of a lot of money. My car was $7,200. You're only 14, going to be 15...are you really making enough money so that in say three months you will be able to afford to buy a YFZ? Yeah you'll be able to sell the 400EX frame, but you can't get too much for it. I could be wrong here and you may be able to save up enough money and get a YFZ, and if you can make ends meet with the money...go for it. My choice is #1, and I would choose the 300EX engine just because I don't like Blasters...but that choice is up to you.
