450r tie rods needed!!!

have any of you install a new set of a-arms and still got your stock tie rods and wanna get rid of them!??!?! please let me know.

yep the stock tierods are a little weak, not as weak as yamaha's but definatly not strong like the 400ex. I replace mine with a set of stainless steel ones from eyeball engineering.

You can keep them from bending by getting some from Penland Bros. Racing 706-746-2812......just tell him you need the 13.25 inch ones. They are very nice and strong. Or if you race GNCC he usually has some with him. It is worth it to just buy some good aftermarket ones because from what I hear the stock ones just can't take much. I replaced mine before the first race.:D

I ordered some OEM ones a couple of weeks ago and they weren't on backorder at that time.
