??performance of .40 over bore??

All right every one they had to spilt the tranny on my 400ex to replace a broken shifter return spring ??????? but since they had to spilt the motor and all we just had them bore it and put a new piston in it . it is .40 overbore with wiseco 11:1 piston can yall tell me what kinda of power boost ill get from from this and my whitebros pipe would i need to re gear or what somebody tell me somethin

you probably won't notice too much difference with just the piston. add a cam and the gains will be beneficial.

you not goin to notice a thing, 40 over is actually .040 and is just merely a clean up bore, the only way you would ever notice a difference is if you up your compression quite abit

well for now i dont have the money for the cam but im gonna get one this summer prolly the motor was pretty wore (alot of hard runnig)so im hoping that itll be alittle peppier plus they repacked my pipe (hadnone)so maybe ill notice some difference

you won't, if anything it's just goin to bring you back to stock performance depending on how much compression you lost on this bore, it it's wore that much

bud says itll have a good 10.5-11:1 he is a great mechanic and i trust and know he did it all right
