Well I have some money saved up finnaly so I can get a race bike and kepp the 400 for the trails, however I dunno what I want.

I got shocks and a few other parts i would like to be able to use on my race bike so heres what i thought a 250r for 3500 or so and mod it and charry over the suspension parts. Or buy a new 450r and run it basically stock till I get more money. Or possibly buy another 400ex or 300ex and use it as trail bike and kepp my current 400ex for racing.

what you think?

I voted for the stock 450r because the 450's are basicly the future..

But having 2 quads does sound nice...

for local racing u cant beat a 250R. not trying to bash but i dont think you will be running any pro classes so you dont need a 450R. besides its neat to be the lone 2 stroke rider!;)

I'd get a 250r, but that's because they're kinda legendary, and it would be cheaper than getting a 450r. just strip some parts off of your 400 for the 250. I'm lookin for a 250r, I just don't like 4 strokes as much!

Return your ex to stock, then sell your aftermarket parts here or ebay. Then trade the stock ex in on a 450r. Use the money from your old aftermarket parts to buy new parts for the 450r. I liked the 250r in it's day but, who wants to buy someone else's problems? Start with a new bike and you'll always know where it's been.

i like his theory!

"who wants to buy someone elses problems?" Words of wisdom right there.
