Is it true tht 400EX a-arms will fit on a 300EX? What do you have to do to make them fit? Would 400EX tie rods and brake lines work as well since it will be wider than stock 300EX tie rods/brakelines.

How much wider does it make it per side?
+2 or +1?

One more questions, would 300EX Works shocks work with the 400EX a-arms as long as I get them revavled?

Will they fit? Yes
Are they the best to use? NO

You need the a-arms and tierods for sure. Stock 300 brake lines will fit. You need either custom made shocks, or a relocator bracket and 400ex shocks. Save up and do it right with +2 300ex a-arms. Wish I would have.

for a weekend rider its fine and a good cheap mod. for a racer no get a-arms made for a 300ex. every one says it gives u a alllloooottt of bump steer but i only notice that in rough trails. and i only ride mx mostly;)

I have 250r shocks and a-arms on my quad and it is the best thing i have ever done for it. All i did was cut off the stock mounting brackets and moved them up on the frame. Anyone that says get 300ex shocks and a-arms is leading you in the wrong direction. You can put extended 400ex a-arms and aftermarket shocks on your 300ex if you wanted to and it would cost the same. The geometry is awesome on mine and eats whoops like crazy. I am going to try putting some 450r shocks on the front. So the answer to your questions is yes they will fit, need longer tie rods. 300ex shocks do not work well at all, sits to low and very stiff, not comfortable at all. It really only widens it like a 1/2 to 1 inch on each side. I turned my rims inside out for more width, but that gives you terrible bumpsteer, i did this because i race MX, so if you are not racing, or even if you are, dont turn them inside out. Any questions just ask me, ill steer you in the right direction. Later bud..,

yes stock 400 a-arms will bolt right up to a 300. the shocks will mount right up to the aarms. you havw to have 400 tie rods too but stock brakelines will work. it makes it about 3-4 inches wider total, and sits pretty flat and low..

The shocks will mount up but not recommended, you need 400ex or 250r shocks instead of the stock 300ex's. You also need to move the upper shock mounts up approx. 2 inches. This is the only way it will work correctly. The stock 300ex shocks will be at such an angle that they will be very stiff and not any good to ride on. Also, it only widens the front width approx. 2 inches with the stock 400ex a-arms.

Please so some research on this forum about this mod. It is not a good idea! We (TQS) are suspension experts and have tried to make this mod work. It will make your quad handle bad!
