The first round of the Dirt Days of Summer series had an excellent turnout thanks to Anthony from Douglas Wheels. Sponsors for the series included Triumph motorsports, Kenda, atvsport, scott, K&N, TAG, x-factor motorsports, atv magazine, PC products, mini atvs, and Lone Star racing.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:17 PM
With the ant hill start most people seemed to be wheeling off the line.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:19 PM
Jeremy Schell didnt seem to be underpowered today with this start. He grabbed the holeshot with Kory Ellis and Doug Eichner right behind.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:20 PM
Jeremy Schell was still leading the pack with Doug Eichner running in second, Kory Ellis on his Alba Yamaha running in third, and Danny Ragon running in fourth.

05-23-2004, 01:22 PM
Steve Beilman was running in the 5th position with Darrel Patton right behind him.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:26 PM
As the leaders came around for the second lap Jeremy was no longer in front. Infact he had dropped down to about 5th or 6th place. After talking to him after the race he said that he didnt know what happened the bike just lost all of its power. This wasnt a bad thing for Kory Ellis who was now in 1st place and Doug Eichner who was running in the second place position.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:27 PM
Jeremy Schell worked his way back up to the 4th spot but wasnt about to give up. HE wanted the win.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:32 PM

05-23-2004, 01:44 PM

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:44 PM
Jeremy passed Danny and was making the move on Doug.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:45 PM
Danny Ragon was now in fourth

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:46 PM
Now that Jeremy was in second the next thing would be first. Kory was about 14 seconds ahead of Schell.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:47 PM
Cyle Chislock

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:48 PM
Kory turned what was a small double with a gap and then a table into one big jump. He was the only one doing it for awhile.

quadchick01
05-23-2004, 01:49 PM
Darrel Patton was the only other person who tried to do this. Unfortunetly he didnt make it but his swing arm left this mark at the start of the table top.

See thats just not cool. When I entered a race I was the only one to ride the track the day before and I had a huge advantage, I didnt complain about it, but it wasnt really fair. I guess it cant always be fair. ;)
