I want to change my stock carb with another stock carb that is already re-jetted(came from a different 03' 300ex). I'm going to be installing a K&N airfilter. The kid that sold the carb to me told me that i should either have him switch the carbs for me, or take it to the shop because I could "blow up the engine" if I dont do something right(I forget exactly what he said). I just need some honest opinions- is this something I can do by myself? I figured it would'nt be too hard, the only adjustments on the carb is the air/fuel mixture & the idle screw, right? -Dave

I think about the only way to blow it up would be to leave the gas on and toss a match at it..... try this site for Dyno-jet information (http://www.dynojet.com) and then find your application they have good information and pics of how to do it..... Look in the lower right side for ATV applications.
