Motor question

I just rebuilt my 400ex and made it a 416 with a 10.8:1 high comp piston with a hot cam stage 1.. and I was riding in a desert and it started bogging down so i throttle it and a weird ticking sound appeared. it sounded like the valves but im not sure iit was them, but it came from the motor. it runs good and strong but thats the only problem i have with it...any feedback will help thanx guys

The stage 2 does seem to make alot more ticking noise than a stock cam, but if it just start happening out of the blue, then you might need to adjust your valves.
