Got ? on JE 13:8:1 piston for 450r

I know a person who is trying to sell me a high comp piston it is a JE 13:8:1 and want to know if u lose any top end and how much

Some of my experience with it is in this thread. I have a friend that has the exact same set up as mine, and he said he didn't feel any loss of top end power, nor did I. There is however someone else who posted on here that said he had a loss of top end power, so who knows? May be what all has been done to the motor matters on top end?

With the piston alone you will lose top end, however with a cam and pipe you will gain it back and then youll notice the additional power. Personally the quad has plenty of low end but could benefit from more mid range power. just my opinion
