So, I need to tear down the rear axle assembly on my EX, and cannot find a CRESCENT wrench big enough for the locknut on that bastid! Do you guys know the exact size so I can order up some open end wrenchs? I'm guessing it's in the 2 1/4 inch range? Thanks for the help!

I think most people just use a pipe wrench. I did and it worked fine.

also watch what way the thread is
i use a pipe wrench & a plumbing pipe to get more leverage & strenthg on it or I step on it

:D i gots a big arse adjustable.. its about... ahh... 2 1/2 feet long and adjusts up to 3 inches i think

The outer locknut is 45mm and the inner is 56 mm.
