View Full Version : is the 450r worth buying
i am trying to decide if i want the 450r or not because on the 28th im geting a new atv but im not sure if the 450r is the one i want . it is eather that or the z400 i use to have a z250 and i out grew it the first month i had it and i dont want to out grow the z400 to quick so do u guys think the 450r would be good or shoud i get the z400
450r..the z400s tend to have little things go wrong with thme and are a litle higher maintenance of a quad..look for a used z400 thiough & you could save alot of money
is the 450r to hard to learn how to ride scence its kick start and it is a race quad
no...the kickstart is super easy & I would rather have it over an Estart anyday & as for learning how to ride I wouldnt reccommend it to an inexperienced quad rider, if you are familiar with sport quads then grab it or if you are comfortable learning..if not then get a kfx400 or a 400ex
yeah i am use to rideing sport quads i just didnt know if it would be hard to learn how to ride it or not i like the z400 but i think ill just out grow it to soon

Hey Kog,
I have a 450r and it is somewhat easy to start. :o)
If you do any climbing in the sand (thats what i do) just make sure u do not stall it. It is hard to get it to start back up again I think the 450r is a good choice i love mine so far
My mods on mine are, HRC kit, Sand stars front and back
and maybe a 13:8:1 piston
Does anybody know what is the lowest octance you can run in it and how much it will be a gallon??
