View Full Version : Sparks 8-plate clutch kit

The kit didn't come with any instructions and don't want to wait for Sparks crew to return from lunch.

I noticed that all of the fiber plates have one piece painted blue. Am I supposed to stagger them or line them up any particular way?

I doubt it would make a diffrence. But when i put mine in i just lined them all up.

I don't think it really matters, but you could call C&D to double check.

remember when you put the last fiber in, you have to rotate it into a different grove than the prevous steels and fibers.

in a 400ex with the stock basket it is. it shows pretty clear in a clymer manual what needs to be done. i am sure the honda says it too but i like the clymer so i don't look at the honda too often.

And if you were to put in a hinson basket there is no groove so they all go in the same..

You'll like this clutch much better than stock....:devil:
