I was wondering if anyone had one of theese and if it helped or there was a cheaper way to let air in without all the dirt..
could it possably be made i have an old k&n i could chop to make it...

I am thinking if you made a trip to the local auto parts store and look at the different flat filters that the newer cars have at least 1 should be close size wize to the airbox lid. Then see if K&N makes a filter that crosses over to fit that vehicle. Then all you would need to do is cut a hole to fit the new filter in and maybe epoxy it in place. I have been thinking about doing this just haven't taken the time to do it.
