Well On saturday there is a mud bog contest. So my friend had a old beater honda civic front wheel drive :) that runs crappy. So a few of us are working on it. We want to take it through the mud bog. Does anyone have any cheap ideas to get it ready. We adjusted the carb a little and it runs better, and my brother wants to lift it with blocks. Other than that what other free/cheap mods can you do?

PS I will try to get some videos out there this weekend. Theres gonna me some monster trucks, ect there.

the unibody has nothing to do with it, its the suspension. to add blocks your expecting it to have a leaf style system that you can use the blocks as a spacer. well the old civics had torsion bars up front but changed in 87. the car rides on a spring with a strut inside. to lift it you would need a longer strut and taller springs. but with the design of the civic suspension it will not let it drop much more then stock. i could do a better explanation but im at work.

Well as you can tell no one thats working on the car really knows what we are doing so is there any other way to put a lift on it?

go to whatever you want to go through and get about 100ft away then hold it to the floor...good luck!
