it makes a large point that 500s are somewhat better over 250s, for the torque in the low end/smooth power delivery and the ability to smoke anything else. plus the top ends last "way" longer. I thought CR5's blew top ends a lot? What do you think?

correct me if im wrong but i read somewhere that the reason they did away with 500 class was because there was no pt to it ands they actually turned slower lap times than the 125s and 250s, you get to a pt when there is just too much power to be useable and it slows u down

I agree, power is no good if you can't put it to the ground. That and reliability is why I wont buy a 2 stroke quad.

I would agree that once the power overcomes the riders ability to control it the bike and rider would slow in terms of lap times, and crashes from losing it when gasing on it out of a flat turn without ruts to use would increase.
