do any of you know what the loudest slip on for the 400ex is? fmf? will i need to rejet with just a slip on.

also i have heard sometimes slip ons dont incerase power, they deacrease it. due to loss of back pressure. do yopu know a slip on that dosent cause this loss in power and is loud also?

thanks in advance:)

what the.. a GOOD slip-on (HMF, curtis spark, fmf, pro-circuit, WB) can't make you lose power!! they rock  uhh..and yes, you have to rejet, and i heard the loudest (and better) was the curtis spark x-6 , but I'll go with HMF..

what size jet should be ran on these slip ons? with the only mods being a slip on and a k&n air filter.

look i dont have one.. but it all depends on the altitude.. anyway, I should recommend you to start with a 158 main, and 42 pilot jet. using a HMF.. start with that.. and then just play to get it done "perfectly". hope that helps ;)
