swingarm no the axle will fit if you change the sprocket hub. You can put your stock sprocket hub on the Lonestar Axle and it will work fine.

How sure are you on this? Have you personally done it or have you just heard that it works. Sorry for grilling you but the reason is this, I just got through tearing apart my 400EX and 450R rear ends at the same time and had to reassemble them because it did not work. I did not switch the sprocket hubs though, I just switched the carriers with the axles still in them. The carrier on the 400EX is just a tad longer than the 450R. I then tried the 400EX Lonestar axle in the 450R carrier on the 450R and that didn't work as well. I did all this because someone told me it would work. Thanks.

I have personally seen a aftermarket 400ex swingarm on a 450r all they did was cut a 1/8" off the rear of the ex swinger so the 450r carrier will fit into the ex swinger. Dont remember the brand though

He used his custom axis 400ex shock too but I dont know if it changed the geometry or lossed/gained any travel. He had his axis ex shocks on the front too and I know thats not to good geoemtry wise but he said he liked it.

He was a C-class rider so maybe he dont use all his suspension and dont know waht good really is?
