As you have noticed I still have a few things to bolt on, like the rear brake system and the X6

Everyone and their dogs fleas have a 400ex or 250r and I hated to be just another one lost in the crowd. You would be surprised just how cheap the total cost of this quad is. I would have to say it runs alot better than most 250x's and I wouldn't be afraid to get on a track with some 400ex's. There are plenty of cc limited classes in all types of racing (TT, MX, XC) here in north missouri.

Later this summer this X is going to get another crazy make over . +3+1's, stroker crank, big bore cylinder, and probably elkas w/ piggys are in the near future. I am going to go back to 11:1 though, I want to be able to borrow gas if I have to when I run out!

I have a 250x also. It has a white brothers 315 kit port,polish and cam. I have about 600$ into it. Its my loaner quad or if someone ever wants to buy it I would sell it for 900$.

Thanks for the positive reply's, I was actually expecting 14 posts saying I was retarded for not just getting a 400ex and working it over. If that is what I wanted, I would have one! One of these days I might want one of the newer faster quads, when that day comes I will throw a cover over this one put it in the corner of that big *** machine shed in the background of the pics, and buy one of the new 450's or what ever is new and fast at the time.

You should not have a problem selling that!!! If you were closer I would buy it now!

I am going to go quite a bit bigger than 315. It might become a gernade on wheels, I am going to keep my current crank, head and cylinder set up just in case that happens.

OK wellll it's FINALLY back on the road whoooo hoooooo!!! Got it put back together today & road it around the yard a little, from what I felt it's gonna run out!! Never got out of 3rd gear yet haha, & the 400 carb, we just stuck a 150 main jet in it & hoped for the best & as far as we can tell now it's ALL GOOD!! Much more throatier sounds AWESOME I can't wait to rip on it!! I have 6 weeks of stress just rolling down my back now LMAO!! OH BTW I didn't get to take a pic of the porting but OMG he went HUGE!!!
