I am looking into building up my quad for mx racing and i was wondering if the pep triple rates with rezzies are good for mx or should i save for something more like elkas. I am planning on buying the houser +2 a-arms but i dont know what shocks to get. if any one has any suggestions on what shocks are the best for the cheapest price id be very thank ful. thanks

I am puttin the same setup on my 400. PEP are supposed to be great shocks. and the standard Race shocks are reasonably priced, thats y I am goin with them.

i heard pep race shocks r pretty good. Dont get works! Very cheap! Unless thats all you can afford. no doubt works are much better than stock! WAYYY better than stock. But they dont sag or bit into the corners good at all! I have works front and i hate them. I have a rear ohlins and its GREAT! Go for the elka's if you can. Suspension is almost EVERYTHING!!!

The PEP Race Shocks are Great, but you better be ready for a VERY Long Wait. That`s what is Bad about PEP, you have to Wait like 4 Months or more to get them. I will be going with the Elka Setup in my Signature.

i'm saving for elka's but rather than starting a new thread should I save up for another 550 bucks for the wider a-arms because that would be a long time to save up the for the shocks and the a-arms but what should I do or is there anything I can do?

Well if you are going to get A-Arms some time you could do that. If you think it will be a while before you can get A-Arms then get the Fronts and have the Rear Converted. I would get the Setup I have in My Signature. That would be Great. Then by time you can get A-Arms, your Front Shocks will need a Service so have them Revalved for +2 A-Arms. How does that Sound?

yeah thats probably what I will do is wait a while to widen it anyways because we don't have a trailer and that means we can't haul the 125 with us in the truck. I will probably get the front shocks and a conversion and then do some motor work.
