AC Propeg Nerfs ?? [Archive] - ATV Riders Forum

I just purchased AC propeg nerfs for my 400ex, i ordered through Marcum's ATV, I was wondering if these nerfs will come with the heel guard? There wasn't a picture of them online when i ordered them so i dont know if it has the heel gaurd or not.

Did you happen to ask when you will have them? I was told next week three weeks in a row, finally gave up and got standard nerfs, marcum didnt have those either.

I believe the only way the 40ex pro-peg come are with the heel guard now.

yup pro-pegs SHOULD have the heel kicks on them and the ac racing nerfs are hard to install too.

i've called all around today and nobody has the ac propeg's .they all said they don't know what's up with ac? anybody know where i can find them on the net or a phone #to a place who's got them?

I had no problem at all installing mine. i dont understand why people think they are hard to install:confused: they definately look trick. i got a sponsorship from AC and they sent me their polished ones. They look just like chrome:D Since my bike will be black and red he custom made me some black\red nets!! they are real trick lookin!! You can get them from Marcums quite a bit cheaper than through AC themselves!

The AC's do come with heel kicks. But they expect you to drill holes in them so that they will bolt on to the peg and the back of the nerf. If you know someone with a tig welder just have them weld them on. It's stonger and looks better too.

i got mine from motoman they had them when everyone else was on backorder. it would have been nice if the R&D department would have included instrustions, just be patient and if that does not work look in the frequintly asked questions section good article. (i left the extenders off didn't like um
