I was told that boyseen reeds are not the way to go if you want a power increase. A local bike shop that seems to do great work told me this.
I had a bog in the top end of my race bike (RM250) I couldn't find it. They found it (cracked carb). They installed a 38mm carb instead of the stock 36mm. Long story short.. they told me they hate dual stage reeds because they rob power. they custom made carbon fiber reeds for me. My throttle response is amazing and I have never riddin another 250 with so much power. Granted the engine is heavely modded and the bigger carb must have helped but it is just awsome now.
anyone else heard that dual stage reeds kill your power?
