Anyone for Northern Cali riding?????

Im looking for other places to ride besides Sand Mountain, Glamis, Pismo and Fort Bragg...anyone know of anywhere else????:D

There are some small dunes in Armagosa Valley just north of Vegas. Not quite as tall as Sand Mountain, but a lot less crowded.

How far north of Vegas? Is there any fees or rules?

No fees or rules as I know. They're not very big, about the size of Sand Mountain, but some of them get pretty steep. I've never seen a whole lot of people out there because Dumont isn't too far away, so people just go to Dumont.

It's about 90 miles North of Vegas on Hwy 95. If you go during the day, you can easily see the dunes from the highway right in the middle of Armagosa Valley.

There are some small dunes just outside of Winnemucca.

There's also Crescent Dune, just outside of Tonapah on the Gabbs Pole Line Road.

None of these dunes are really big, but at the same time they aren't really crowded or regulated.
