View Full Version : Hitting a big ramp?

Im thinking of building a ramp bout 6 feet tall 5 feet wide 10 feet long and im thinking how would u hit it lean forward when your hitting the ramp or just lean back intil it in the air what do you guys do when u hit the ramp thanks !!

hit it like a normal jump...just like a table top..if you get messed up in the air ..you'll have enough time to fix it

make it 8 ft wide and waaaaaaaaaaaay longer. at least 15 feet long for sure, then you can have a smoother transition

i think you mean 8ft tall? or i would hope. 15 long, 8 tall seems to be the most common dimensions. like he said, longer and smoother transition, which throw you much nicer and make it that much easier to do tricks.

no, if he only wants it 6 ft tall, it should still be 8 ft wide.

how easy is it to manuever yourself in the air? the jumps i hit I really have no time to notice how i lean and how much of a difference it makes.

i made some plans for a 5 foot ramp 12 feet long and 6 feet wide i cut one of the side pieces but havent don anything elese cause the 400 is in the shop becomeing a 416(it has been for 2 months!) 6 feet wide is wide enough to be confident going at it fast but if your ride is wide go 7 or 8
