New Tires Wrong Size

I just recieved my new itp xct's and they are 22x11x8 the stock rims are 20x10x9. my question is this. should I

1. Buy some 8 inch rims

2. Return the tires for the correct size.

I really want to know if there is really a performance difference between having the two sizes of rims. I mostly drag race and climb hills

the bigger the tire/the smaller the wheel, the more roll its going to have. Your going up a size tire AND down a size wheel. Personally, i would send them back. I am running 10's on the back and i love them. Its more stable, and it didn't hinder the tire's cushion factor.

I agree with Texan32, I would send them back for the correct size. I barrowed a set that same size while waiting for new tires to show up. I did not like them, it did not handle the same. Too much tire roll. :(
I don't know where you got them, but if you ordered 20x10x9 I would make them correct it.
