It can't be real. If it were, it would be the most advanced robot ever created. Only a few years ago were they able to build and program a robot to walk up a set of stairs. Now here is one that will recognize and stop a moving car?

Look at the shadows in the car stopping video. The robots shadow is coming towards the camera, but the vehicles shadow is in the opposite direction. Hoax.

Which is faster?

The 450r, YZF or this robot!!lol

Looks like the robot has better suspension than both quads.

But the shadows are right next to each other, facing in opposite directions. If there was a light in back of the robot, causing a shadow towards the camera, wouldn't the car have a shadow in the same direction when it got next to the robot?

I don't know - I watched the other video's and read some of the stuff on the site, if it is a hoax it's VERY well done.

You guys should do more internet research on sh*t like this before forming a gullible opinion

From slashdot:

"It seems that it is advertising.

A whois lookup on r50rd.co.uk returns the address:

6 darblay street
london
W1V 8DM
GB

A quick search for this address on Google reveals:

Martyn Gould Productions, 6 D'Arblay St, London, W1F 8DN, UK

On a page titled: "Film and Television - Post Production, Commercials""

Just a marketing ploy by Mini.

Here's what I found for a whois search of exriders.com.. i even found archived web pages linked from betterwhois.com.

Also.. information essential on who registered the site. (Basically harlins address I believe) I'm blanking out the actual important info so he doesn't get sent strange mail lol:devil:
