Anybody make a jump from a 250ex to 400EX?

I would think that would be a perfect step up, obviously take it easy at first but the size of the two quads are close. with alot more power have fun!:D

I went from 250x to 400ex. It is a big difference.

I went from trailblazer to 416ex. It's not hard. Don't waste your time with a quad in the middle.

I made the jump from a 93 poolaris trailboss 250... to my 400

it was easy... but i have been riding and racing sleds and riding bikes and stuff for a while too

I did it, it isnt much of a difference after a bit of riding, but all depends on how long you have been riding, and how far u pused that 250 before u switched over lol, i pushed my 250 to the max like it was a 400, so the 400 was just a nice ride when i got it.

I went from my modded blaster to my modded z400, and it was big but easy jump and im just glad to get off that little hotwheels blaster and start riding with the big boys, besides i feel safer on my Z

I made the switch almost 2 years ago from a stock 2002 300ex, to an esr 310. Going from a mild 14hp to 55+ wasn't that bad:eek2:

yeah, i agree, ive seen many big quads get smoked by much smaller quads in the woods, its all about the rider.
