I dont mean to offend any of the growing Kenda Fans out there, but HONESTLY... I dont see what all the rage is with these things. My buddy has them on his KFX and I was not all that impressed with them on the track. They are a glorified TITAN Fast trekker. The tread is almost IDENTICAL!! The front tires seem to be great but the rears are sub par at best I would say. The Gnarly's just look like a beefed up Ohtsu rear tire to me, nothing too special. Everyone is flocking to Kenda Lately... Does anyone else see this similarity?!?!?!

I'm with you on this one. I got a set of stock Blaster front tires rotting in my junk pile from my '93 that are identical to these so-called "new" Klaw fronts. Ugly *******s!

They are quite a bit different from Fast Trekkers basically in terms of sidewall characteristics and tire shape, but I will say that I rode a set once and wasn't at all impressed. I just really didn't like them. MX tires like Holeshots and Razrs suit me better. People will run what they want to and that is fine, but they aren't for me.

I'll agree to a certain extent. On the tracks around here, we have alot of clay in the soil. Holeshots and Razrs just ball up. The Klaws clean themselves providing traction.
We have both Holeshots and Klaws=different soil, different tread required.

The picture of the fast Trekker tire you posted is of a 22in tire.....the 20s have a completely different tread pattern. Here is a pic of a 18inch Klaw next to a 20inch Trekker.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid117/p99aa7f635bd05fa089dc6f4ef829ed59/f89e3905.jpg

Trekkers are flat across the top and handle much worse than the kenda's which have a rounded edge. I've run both types so I know. Yes the patterns are close but they are not the same lugs nor is it layed out the same. Kenda also offers 6 ply in some tires were trekker offers no 6 ply on any size they sell. The kendas on the MX tracks around here out performed all others that I've used. ITP MX tires were the worst things I ever installed on the front of my quad. The rears worked great the first few times out. Too bad they were out after 2 races...

Razor 2's do not hold well at all in dry conditions. Out of all 3 brands, Kenda's are the best ones I've ever run! :macho

I have kenda's in my garage right now and havnt put em on for awhile because they are my racing tires(rear), so I cant really judge, but from what I've noticed, the fast trakker are make of bazooka gum, they wear away VERY fast.-darren

hey rico why do MX holeshots sucked??? thats what I have and I think its pretty godd but I never tried Klaws...??

I was thinking about getting a full set of klaws but I saw the ad for the new holeshots MXR-4... its suposed to have a harder counpound so it wont wear as fast as the one I have...

i was not impressed at all with the Klaw mx rear..to much side grip, it wanted to shoot the quad up on the side 2 wheels in every corner. they didnt want to slide either. all in all..i dont like them. i'll be geting some razr mx's for sure now

yeah same thing, my friend bought klaws, i rode them down the trail an thought they were great for the traction, then i got them on the track an they just dont slide. Im loyle to the Razrs, an i almost turned em down for the klaws, im glad i didnt. i probobly wont run anything else

i have run every tire from razrs, hole shots and now run klaws only.they get great traction in staigt aways and corner excellent if u cant get sideways with a claw then somethigs wrong. holeshots spin to much and wear out to fast, razrs never seem to get enough traction. i only weigh 175lbs and ride all different dirt from loose to packed even sand, mostly mx tracks and klaws have been the best choice for me.

i have the xc 20s in the rears and will be geting the mx 18s soon for the track beacause i liked the klaws soo much. I had the 20s since about december and the tread is still almsot brand new. they slide perfect and hookup soo good. i wont be switching tire brands for awhile :o
