My friend is looking to buy a used 400EX and he wants to know what to look for both mechanically and physically on the machine...any advice?

bearings...tire tread to see how much he has ridden it or plugs in tires to see how hard...stress marks in frame....what else am i missing? look at air filter to see how clean it is...:confused: listen to engione for any weird noises

Look on the bottom of the frame for dents, look around the upper shock mounts for cracks or chipped paint. Listen to motor and ride it a little...
