what are all the mod i have to do to make 450r shocks fit on a 400ex?

i read u gotta grind the hsockmounts of the frame n weld new ones but i aint positive if u wanna do that which i doubt my mxhonda86 540r shocks:o

All you have to do to make them fit, is to grind off a little material from the upper mount on the shock itself.
