well im getting rid of the parking brake so i want to get a nice new clutch lever, perch, and pb block off. what lever would you recomend without spending a crazy amount of money. i know rtc and i think asv are both known to be very well, can anyone tell me about them and what their price is. i know they are the more expensive of the bunch of clutch levers out. let me know what you have, how you like it and if possible the price on it..thanks alot

I have an applied clutch and perch. It has the star adjust and is very nice. Looks just like the works connection but for a fraction of the price. Try www.motoworldracing.com for prices that's where I got mine.

Look into the Hydrolic clutch if you have the $:) As for the block off goes, they are all the same, nac's has some nice pretty colored ones if you wanted it to look a little nicer

Heard that the PEP and others wear out your clutch cable prematurely because of the increased angle on the cable. Also heard that the RTC does not because they have a built in slot to accomodate the change in angle. I ordered my RTCs (brake and clutch) a couple days ago. Should be here any day now :-)

RTCs do rock! The only thing that sucks is that they do not make a clutch lever and perch that incorporates the hot start lever for the 450r like ASV and Works connection do. If they did I'd certainly be in line waiting for one! Now I'm not sure which one to go with???:grr:

Any suggestions as to which is best??

I am not very happy with my asv and will be selling it shortly to buy the works connection. THe lever adjustment is dumb, when you move the lever the clutch won't dissingage completly.

rtc i have both the clutch and brake...i broke the brake lever installing it (overtightened w/ air rachet, oops) called them up and i had a new one 3 days later. that's service!!! rtc may be a bit more pricey, but quality and service are wonderful

if you're not into big brand name ones, get a moose "fly" clutch assembly. it has an awesome adjuster setup, and a ball bearing pivot. the bend is the same as honda's cr levers and it is about 45 bucks. i have them on everything i own, the bearing setup is sweet. parts unlimited carrys them. just my 2 centz

How is the quality on those? And how much of a difference in pull did it make?
