All Yoshi Owners. Need Jetting Help

I HAVE A HRC KIT WITH STOCK FILTER. AND OF CORSE YOSHI PIPE. I STARTED OFF BY PUTTING IN 185 WITH HRC AIR BOX LID ON. RAN OKAY. SO I READ ON HEAR SOME WHERE THAT TO TRY 195 WITH NO AIR BOX LID AND 2.5 TURNS OUT AND IT RAN CRAPPY. SO I PLAYED WITH SCREW AND AT 1.5-*2.0 TURNS IT RIPS AFTER ABOUT 1/4 THORTLE. BUT BEFORE THAT IT JUST FALLS ON ITS FACE AND WONT EVEN GET THE FRONT WHEELS OF THE GROUND. WOULD CHANGEING THE PILOT JET HELP? AND WHAT IS A SLOW JET? I AM JUST USED TO CHANGING MAIN JET AND EVERY THING BEING OKAY. THIS CARB IS HARD TO PLAY WITH

I'm running the same set up with no lid a K&N, 2.5 turns out on the air screw and a 195 main and it runs great

Does it pop on deaccelleration? when I first ran mine the screw was at about 1.25 turns out and it did not respond well on the bottom but riped after that so i would say your air screw is not adjusted right

i saw your jetting and thats what i ran mine to. 195 no lid and 2.5 turns out and it rips after 1/4 thortle. but before that it falls on its face like it needs more fuel? i dont know but i messed with it for 3 hours. what do ya think........maybe play with pilot or slo jet what ever that is

Try going down to a 190. It could be to lean or it could be to rich. I had just a Lrd full exhaust system on and they were telling me to run a 190-195 but that was with the air box lid off and i didn't want it off yet. So when i would just punch the gas it wouldn't go and it would just die. It was getting to much fuel. Well when i get a cam and have someone else put it in for me, im going to tell them to take the air lid off and jet it; its gonna be saaaweeet.

I KNOW WHAT I WAS GOING TO ASK YA. WHAT POSITION IS YOUR NEEEDLE IN. OR WHAT CLIP IS IT IN? AND WHERE DID YA GET THE K&N AT?

I have the HRC needle set on the middle notch and I got the K&N from RockyMountainATV.com

COOL. I GUESS I WILL TRY THAT THEN MAYBE I AM TOO RICH WITH OUT THE K&N

Check your plug if it is white it is two lean if it is really black then it is to rich.

WELL I GOT IT RUNNING PRETTY GOOD TONIGHT. WENT WITH 195, 2.5TURNS ON SCREW AND MOVED NEEDLE DOWN ONE NOTCH FROM MIDDLE AND RUNS PRETTY STRONG.....REAL STRONG
