Jet kit, or powerkit

Ok, I've got a Megamax2 w/ header and would it be better to get the jet kit or power kit? A friend that has a 400 got a jet kit and says it has so much more power, does it really affect it that much? Also, whats the difference between the jet and power kit other than $?

The jet kit is part of the power kit.
power kit= K&N filter,outerwear,jet kit,oil/cleaner

I would just go to your Honda deasler & buy some pilot & main jets. I haven't ever worked on a 300, so I can't tell you what sizes to buy, can anyone else help out? The jets are going to be cheaper than a kit (that's all the kit is anyway), and the power will be the same.
