I noticed alot of ppl are cutting there race pipes 3-4in off. what would happen if i do this to my stock pipe? will anything need to be changed? Remember this is just a thought i had staring at the computer screen.

It give better flow and is alot lighter. But is really loud. We cut my friends big gun race pipe on his 416ex and it flowed almost too good. You are better off ordering an aftermarket pipe then cutting the stock one.

Of course.... aftermarket pipe always comes first.

i took my factory pipe and removed insert and cut it flush with the end cap. this and with no air box lid and a 180 main it ran decent.
it sounded good once you got on it.

but.. my HMF Ballance pro and dyno tuned setup i have know works much much better
