Are there any XC tracks in northern wisconsin other than Wheeler? What are the classes? How long are the races? Is there a difference between XC and Harescramles? Could a 15 year old race on a 250x or 300ex? Just seeing what is out there!

well for one wheeler isn't an xc track, i'm pretty sure its all mx. also, No there is no difference between an xc or hare scramble, they are both woods races. Some tracks in northern wisconsin that have hare scrambles at the are arkansaw (arkansawmx.com (www.arkansawmx.com) )
cmj raceway in hixton (www.cmjraceway.com , there is another in Long Lake at Big Bear Trax (http://www.bigbeartrax.com/index.html.htm)
and wisconsin rapids also has a nice practice track. you can find more info on these xc races in wisconsin by visiting http://cycleusa.com/dist16/main.php?action=main .
Also the races are either 1 or 2 hours long depending on what track it is and you can race in a 12-15 class (maybe) im not to sure about the rules, but you would be able to for sure race in "c" class. check into it the races they are a lot of fun. Also, if you are going to gte into racing a lot of these i would suggest a new and bigger atv because a lot of the time a 300ex just wont cut it.

Wheeler has an "all terrain" track. I thought though that under 16 I couldn't race anything bigger? Thanks for the help.
