View Full Version : standard travel +3 arms?

i am deciding if i want +2 or +3 a arms. i ride mostly mx now and was wondering if i got +3 standard travel a arms would i have to gte new shocks also or would the stockers work untill i got the money for socks? please asnwer asap cuz i wanna order dem tonight:D

u should be fine with +3 and +2 if you dont do anything serious. But with +3 ur gonna need a rear shock or a tcs or elka ssd rebuild cuz its gonna be way low in the front and too high in the back.

its gonna be really soft on +3s and stock shocks.... it will deffinatly bottom out easier.. if you can wait buy the shocks and a arms all at once

Get them at the same time, you will definetly need aftermarket shocks.

i have a set of elka triple rates ssd, comp only piggy back shocks that are set up for 180lbs mx rider, +3 a arms that i am trying to sell since i parted out my 400ex this winter and now am i on a trx450r...

theses are under a year and in good condition, new nitrogen and oil put in by elka before winter...
let me know, it will save you some then buying new ones...
