What up people. Just a quick little question. Just recently put a new piston in my 400ex. The thing is my old piston was shattered. I cleaned out all I could to the point where I couldnt find a piece of piston anywhere. Whats the odds it will lock up to a stray chunk...???

if u cleaned it out as best u say u have and doubled check then go for it and howd u shatter ur piston

Well, It after I purchased it used, i found that that its been previously worked on. The piston was pretty much held together by honda toughness and thats it. Rode it for about 12 hours and thats was it. How long should I go easy on the new piston before I open her up??

stay below half thorottle for two tanks of gas for a new break in not sure about just a piston

Thanks man. I was thinkn a good couple tanks of gas before i really let loose. I wont have a 400ex for too long..movin up to the 450 :)
