O/T Wakeboarding

Does anybody wakeboard here?? I am thinking about getting a wakeboard and wanted to know peoples opinions.. Is it hard for a beginner to pick up and how does it compare to waterskiing?
Any input is appreciated..

i swear by hyperlite. if youre on nj, let me know. i have a hookup on hyperlite boards. like anything else, if you stick with it, youll get better. its tough in the beginning, dont let anyone fool you.

Ive been a double up rider, but you cant go wrong with hyperlite even if they sell them at wallmart.

Its not hard at all to get up and start carving around if you have ever snowboarded. Jumping is a different story though. Once you get it though, then you just start working on new tricks. Its fun even if your not that great though.
