stock 400ex carb on a 300ex

Does anybody know if you can put a 400ex stock carb on a 300ex.....:devil:

I see you have had alot of questions on 300's. I started that way too but, do a search on these topics and get informed then you can ask some more questions.There is so much info here I get lost going through it.;)

There are many, many threads on this and "HOW" it is done.

there isn't too much needed for this to work. some people use a 350X intake boot becasue the stock one on the 300ex is a little snug for the 400ex carb. however, others just force the carb in or boil the boot to expand it and the 400ex carb then should go in. you will also need a throttle cable to work. the 400ex one i hear works fine. then you just need to play with the jetting.
