Any one know of a company that builds carbon fiber bumpers or grab bars? Looking for ones to fit a 250r

i havent seen anything like that before, i have seen some carbon fiber a-arms for a dune buggy but not a bumper

can i ask why you want some? just doesn't sound very durable to me..

and carbon fiber A-arms on a buggy!? wow...i don't think i'd trust that one bit. are you sure they were carbon fiber? they musta been ultra beefy.

In most cases it is just carbon fiber wrapped around the a-arm, making it look carbon fiber.

carbon fiber is very strong !

the ferrari enzo has some of the frame made out of it

carbon fiber rims can sure take a beating, i'm sure other parts would hold up as well :devil:

Carbon fiber is actaully very strong

very strong untill it scratches... then it delaminates and explodes.

hi-per uses a different kind of carbon fiber for their rims than the carbon fiber most people think of.

cannondale had proto-type carbon fiber axles and the Mercedes SLR uses alot of carbon fiber and it is a crazy nice car

The Koenigsegg CCR's body and chassis is made from a carbon fibre composite. It is 806hp, 1180 KG, and has a top speed of over 242. Pretty sure its strong enough.;)

Im sure you could have one custom made, but the reson you dont see people runinng them is because it would be so expense to make them. Also if it is to strong then it wont bend and instead your frame will take the impact, then if it wasnt strong enough you would just be kissing a $300 bumper away. Sounds like a cool idea though.
