Grinding Welds out of header

I'd like to know who all did it in here and if it made a huge diffrence , because i spent an hour grinding the welds out of cripcoast's header (while he sat on the computer , lazy @#$&!@)
and ruined 3 dremel (sp?) tips in the process.
I want to know if it was worth the effort?

It should make a difference. I did mine the same time I put a slip-on pipe on so I don't know which did what.

Where exactly are u guys grinding at, are u cutting the header pipe where the original welds are at and grinding them and re-welding or is it at the ends of the pipe?

You can see them right inside the header, the welds are close to the end. You should be able to see them by looking inside of the header. There is no cutting involved!!!

I did mine a couple weeks ago, and honestly, I can't tell a difference. Never know until you try.
