Just wanted to know if there is any body that races the xc races there, and if you will be there? I will be going for my first time and was wondering what class i should sign up for and maybe a couple pointers. I have a z400 with hopefully tcs sus. by then and hmf pipe. THanks!

We run the haspin series and should be there. Not sure what class I'll be racing but hopefully I can get my 300 going and be in the sport class. If this will be your first race I'd suggest to run the C or B class. Hope to see ya there!

Nope... nothing. :( Changed the spark plug, put new gas in it, tried a diff. cdi and coil... nothing. We are taking it to the shop mon. so hopefully it will be ready to go before then. If not then I might be riding the 400.

i should be there, but i'm gonna put in some new swing arm pivot bearings b4 hand, and it seems like i always run into problems when i tryto work on it, so we will see! i'll be in the sport class on my 300ex, or possibly my blaster, both are number 812

I'll be there. I still don't have any feeling in my thumb so I don't think Ill be ready to race.

I would recomend the c class for you cady 1. There weren't as many people as the b last time. Better chance for a plaque don't ya know.

Lil-braf I have seen three 300exs have a similar problem. There is a wire harness connection under plastic on left hand side. It is above the front left wheel, by frame rail gas tank sits on. White plug with at least 4 or 5 wires in it. Inspect this closely for any signs of being burnt looking or corroded at any of those wire connections. Clean and bypass as necessary, I hope this is it for ya.

Thank you SOOOOOOO much for that advice! Dad tried that and it runs now!! Wooo Hooo!!! Looks like I'll be running the 300 in the sport class this weekend. Hopefully it will stay running through the whole race. lol Who all is running the sport class? I know bradley and brian are... but who else? I am ready!! :macho

Lil braff Im glad this took care of the problem. It would help to put dielectric grease on wire connections to increase reliability. If any are burnt I'd go ahead and replace them ahead of time. Bypass the white connector all together.

I think Id be takin up the offer for a free ride on the other 300 though. If Lil don't want it how do I sign up? ;) . It would hard to hang on one handed and you would have to be ok with power shifts with no clutch action. Just kiddin of course.

Usually little track motocross races are held at night under the lights. Even if not there is plenty of room and the only problem is getting up the big hill and in the place.

Yeah by the looks of the weather its going to be a muddy one. STill haven't got my 400 runnin yet:( but that will change hopefully in a couple of days. Hey david did you sell your yfz? I thougt you had one last year. Hope that thumb is gettin better.

Yeah I had one of the first ones around here anyway. It was a blast to ride and I do miss that acceleration.

What I don't miss is the 155 dollar A arms and fighting for rider position the whole time I was on it.

400EX for life now. I personally am faster on it and proved it. I had both quads so I timed myself and found the 400ex better for my riding skills and wallet.

I gaurantee you won't hear many stories like mine but they are out there.

I'd say me and one of my friends will be there unless it rains much more. If I were you I'd go for C class and just take it easy a lap or so until you get comfortable. Good luck you will have a blast as long as its not a mud hole, which it usually is.
