300 running like crap

i have a 2002 300ex it will idle but when i put it in gear and take off it breaks up real bad. i mean rela bad i looked at my carb and it was off and i put it back on and its still doing this. could it be the jetting becase i have a full white brothers exhaust and when i put the exhaust on it was starting to get a little cold out now its like 75 to 95 all day could that be the problem. its stock jetting.

It's most likely your jetting. You are probably way lean.

i have a 2002 300ex, white bros and k&n, no engine mods. all spring in the cold it ran great, took a while to warm up but kicked ***. lately i've had problems too. mine is on the uphills it was stalling/bogging. not on the downs or straights. i cleaned the card and rejetting with a 125 (stock 122). it seems good. people say go higher on the jetting but i'm starting there. i don't want to be fouling plugs.

i will try this but when i started it up the carb was like half way off i put it back on nd it still would run i will order like a 128 main jet and a kn filter and see what ahppins. if that didnt work could there be a engine problems could i of burnt a valve out or could i of fried the rings people topld me that but i kinda didnt believe them.

Your sucking air, check the clamps again, it may not be sealed well.

i had the same problem with my 300ex, i was running a cobra pipe
with stock jets and i blew the engin up twice, i would rejet it if iwas you
