which should i buy?

alright guy's i'm looking to buy a slip on pipe, i was wondering which one would give me the most performance for my money. i have been looking at the pro circuit t4, wb e-series, yoshi slip on. When i get the pipe i will order k&n powerup kit and i will be grinding the header pipe or making my own. i dont know about the airbox lid or not yet, what suggestions do u have, what one do u think is the best. If u have any other pipes i should consider let me know. Also i am running 108 octane.

Why are you running 108 octane?? Thats way to much for a stock motor. Do you have motor work done?? If not your wasting a lot of money and probably losing power because of too high octane. From all the engine builder I have talked to ,,,,,other than the engine builders pipes,,,the WB is the best!! I still had a Yoshi at first because they look better and sound better in my opinion.. get you a TC slip on if you dont mind it being loud!!

I had the 108 laying around from my race car and want to use it becosue its been sitting a while, the motor is out of my car right now and when it goes back together i dont want the old gas to go in the car! Also how much is the TC pipe

I bought a HMF slip-on not too long ago and really like it. I also put 4 1" holes in the airbox and snapped in the WB airbox vents. Check out HMF they have really good prices.

WB is definately the best out of those three. But CT makes an even better one though

Marcum's did a test on all 3, the Yoshi came out on top, I love mine. It is a very well built pipe, and sounds great !

Personally, I think they all are good to a point. You need to pick one that fits your budget and likeing. We have several guys with 400ex's in my area and we all are running different pipes. Big Gun, FMF, T-4, R4 and WB e'series. All are good pipes. When you have your motor built it might make a bigger difference. That will depend if the motor was built for low, mid or top end power.
I have a T-4 with the Powerbomb headpipe. I am not saying that is the best but it works for me.

Engine builders pipes are definately the best. You can get a TC for like $300-320. I highly reccomend it. Warriorman has one too and he likes his.

I'm gettin ready to combine a setup that nobody has ever mentioned nor have I read it anywear.. I just ordered a bills thunder pipe which will go with my beloved powerbong..I'll let everybody know how it turns out,,I'm thinkin it'll have a little more umph compared to the powercore IV I have,,and a louder bark too..:eek:

TRINITY headders are already ceramic coated and LOOK GOOD sound good and I got a nice jump in power too

Yes Chad is Right. I like my TC Pipe a lot. Mine was $338 with Shipping. As Chad said, TC is all about Torque. You would like the Pipe is Sound is not a Problem. It`s for Racing. It`s almost Hidden. That would be good if somebody rear ended you. The Pipe wouldn`t get all smashed. Call TC, 814-723-3514.

also, i do most of my riding at my house, and at St. Joe State park the park i'm not worried about but if the tc pipe is to loud then i dont think i should go with it. how does it compare to like the t-4 and the wb e-series on sound?

The TC Pipe is Very Loud. It`s a Racing Pipe. The White Brothers I have heard are all Quiet. The Pro Circuit is Loud. The TC is Louder then Both though. You would like it.

Also I just read where you havent decided if you want a 416 or 425. That is a hard decision. Just get you a TC 440:D

I think TC will tell me to go with a 425 unless he is Racing. TC said that 440 is for all out Racing. I`m not really sure on the 416 or 425. I know TC will tell me to go with the 425. I will most likely go with that. If he says to go with it, there must be a Reason. I could just get the 505 and be Done with it. LOL.

Outerwears was giving me a w\d level sponsorship. it works out to about 50% off. i still havent ordered shock covers from them because I was waiting on these others companies I requested sponsorship from. I ordered a couple of prefilters from Outerwears though. They were like $5 a piece!!

For the Shocks, if you are Drag Racing you don`t need Elka Shocks. I want to have Zero Preload though.
