Gold Valve Adjustments??

I had a good friend that does bike shocks do my 400ex rear shock with a gold valve. I set my sag at about 1/3 total travel. I am about 185 lb rider. Where should I set my compression and rebound at for very hard trail riding??? Please help. THANKS AHEAD OF TIME. :confused:

When I installed my gold valve, I got a set up sheet, that had the recommended valving, spring wieght and starting clicker settings.

I don't know how your friend set you up, but he should have some reccomendations.

Otherwise, I would set both in the middle and start adjusting until you like it.
