I have a 5hp briggs and stratton engine horizontal shaft.

It is a fresh rebuild with new piston, rod, and gaskets. It has under 5 hours on the rebuild.
no govoner, a exaust thats loud as crap and the stock exaust, and a 3" intake..

I was gonna sell it on ebay.. I was thinking of starting it at $100 or should I maybe go higher?

yeah, I'd start at 50-100... probably get $200 tops. Helps that it's a horizontal shaft, someone may buy it for a go-cart.

yea horizontal..

Its the perfect and most used go-cart engine out..

And figuring its only a 98 year, and has about 5 hours on the new rebuild I figured I coud get around $150

Nah its not dual bearing block :(

Its just a basic 5hp briggs and stratton engine.. Nothing spectacular, just a rebuilt engine that runs perfect, and pretty much all new internals.. Has a 3" intake on it, and a exaust.. Also no govoner, revs to about 6-6.5k rpm.. Also has a clutch that needs lubed and reassembled..

I actually dont think it has any bearings.. If thats possbile.. I didn't take the gaskets out that the crank goes through.. All I know is I rebuilt it for small engine shop at my school

what kind of clutch is it?

just a regular go-cart clutch..

Nothing high tech here guys.. A pos go cart engine! the most comon go cart engine people run..

With a basic cheap centerfugal clutch.. Cheap being $40 freekin dollars..

I spent $140 on a gocart.. but the frame ended up being a POS.. Then I spent $50 on a rebuild, and $40 on a clutch.. I think imma just put it on ebay for $120
