He's out flipping again!!!

thats right, jon was landing flips on dirt today. they were practiing into a foam pit then went to dirt, just got off the phone with both of em, seem pretty stoked!! he's just gotta do 4 more flips this weekend for the warpt circus :macho late

i should be able to get some photo's up on our website tonight for you guys but dont quote me on that and wait up all night for them like last time :blah: but yeah, nailed flips all day today smoother then ever. i got backflip form finally where i dont need to second guess it. first time on dirt i actually over rated and landed on my @ss... still kinda hurts but besides that went perfect!!! oh yea, this is on the first ever 1 of a kind FMX ATV built specifically for FMX. expect a Dirt Wheels write up on this cause we found the answer to FMX suspension setups!!! but yea i'll try to get some pics up for you guys real soon. :cool:

not really that different cause things are happening so fast... only problem is that from that high up and being disoriented from rotation makes the landing look like flat ground so its hard to tell how hard your going to hit. i racked my nuts a few times and their still hurtin.... thats the only bad part hahaha

i want to say somthing tho, everyone jumps on our case for no helmets, then im watching TV and theres pro skateboarders doin big stunts without any gear. that really makes me mad that we get in trouble for really really small, stupid stuff, then these guys can get on tv and go big without ANY type of gear on. not saying that i would not wear a helmet, i always will wear one. i guess society is holding a grudge on us?

i did 7 clean flips today. im doing about 3 or 4 tomorrow at the show and another 3 or 4 sunday. i'll have quite a few under my belt by the end of this weekend. :macho

I thinks thats awesome that yall are flipping out...If I ever got into QFMX I think I could do alot of tricks but theres a very small chance I would ever try a flip its just crazy...I will have my ramp done this coming friday may 21st we are gonna bring it home and find somewhere to set it up !!

yesterday on the gravity games i saw pastrana go for a superman seat grab backflip, what a nutter! he didnt land it and got knocked out and he didnt remember anything lol we'll be seeing stuff like this in the future from jon :p

Pastranas been doing the SSG backie for a while now.........

Since dirtbikes did backflips first, I think quads should be able to pull front flips before dirtbikes. :D (If it already has been done before:mad: :confused: )

the only physically possible way to do a frontflip is if somehow the lip on a ramp hit high on the rear wheel and gave forward rotation... but when that happens you lose all upward momentum and nose dive.

front flips just aren't possible.

quads weigh upwards of twice or more a persons weight. snowboards / bmx's you can lift with one hand and wave around. light things. try lifting a quad off the ground.

Travis Pastrana does double backflips on RM80's..

I'm talkin' 125cc and up bikes. which are still 100lbs less than a quad at least.
