Does anyone know where i can find a aftermarket timeing chain tensoner for a 400ex. The stock one keeps braking and i dont like it damit.

Wow I have never heard of one breaking how is it breaking and what part is breaking. I have never seen an aftermerket one before.

the spring snaped in mine and it caused the top end to go

sorry but your putting it in wrong.
they never snap.

do you losen the tentionner when you put it in??( the screw in the middle )

I bought one for mine but don't remember where I got it. You can call any engine builder and they will have them. Just remember once you put it in to check it now and again to adjust it. They work great.

AMT REASERCH -is where i got my manual cam chain tensioner
its an aluiminum block with a bolt and lock nut -very simple but works great -has good directions on how to properly set tension on it

The spring in mine keeps breaking and i heard there is one that u just twist something untill it puts tension on the chain.

Someone told me honda had a problem with one of the earlier engine and they made an aftermarket one.
