I'm from Reno, Nevada. I was at Sand mountain this last weekend. It was a little windy at times, but pretty nice overall. The wind died down late evening, so there was still plenty of good riding time.

I was in Reno last weekend! For University of Reno's graduation!!!! I've been to sand mountain many times. It's my favorite place to ride.:D

I make several trip a year out to Sand Mountain. I'm actually not in Reno, but a little further south in Gardnerville (just down the hill from Lake Tahoe).

I haven't made any big trips out to the major dunes like Glamis or Pismo, but I think I'll undertake a major road-trip later this year, or early next year.
