Has anyone done this before? I am a few hours of working it out and would like some input on how others did it themselves.

I have Full bore R plastic on my EX and all you have to do for the rear is cut out were the seat post go in the back .Front us your stock fender mounts just turn them upside down:cool:

Did you just leave the tank cover off? Thats what I planed on doing cause it really don't look that bad. I am using maier plastic and it is causeing me some trobles. Does the full bore fronts mount like stock honda fronts? I have a set of stock fronts too that I might use too.

You use the EX seat but you have to cut out the rear plastic where the seatposts stick out of the seat pan.

I think the EX plastic looks good on a R. But R plastic on an EX looks tuff. Couple of years ago you couldn't tell what anyone was riding cause all the pros had R based frames and wore R plastic. That's the look you'll end up with. COOL!
