if yours keeps breaking, something is wrong. do you install it like the manual says? whats the condition of the timing chain?

i went too a manual cam chain tensioner-from AMT
havent had a problem since -its been almost a year
i broke 3 before switching-i tried the new chain then the heavy duty chain
i think C&D carries them

the first time its was just noisy
second time noticed it when freshin up the motor
third time hillclimbig and valves meet the piston
big mess

you can tell they are broke when you unwind and it doesnt spring back
